Most organizations don't have a content problem. They have a clarity problem.

They know they should be making media. They have ideas, maybe even a team. What they're missing is a clear framework for what to make, how to produce it consistently, and how to build systems that don't fall apart when one person leaves or gets busy.

That's where I come in.

I work with news organizations, nonprofits, community media centers, and mission-driven businesses that need someone who can think strategically about media and then actually implement it. I don't hand off a deck and disappear. I build the system, train the people, and make sure the work continues after I'm gone.

What this looks like in practice

Every engagement is different, but Strategy & Consulting work typically falls into one or more of these areas:

  • Content and channel development — Defining what shows, series, or content formats an organization should be producing, and building the editorial frameworks, show structures, and production templates to support them.

  • Workflow and systems design — Creating repeatable production processes, scheduling systems, publishing SOPs, and operational playbooks that internal teams can actually use and sustain.

  • Pilot production — Getting new shows or series off the ground with hands-on production support, then documenting everything for handoff.

  • Staff training and handoff — Teaching internal teams to operate the systems we've built together, so the work continues without me.

  • Organizational media strategy — Helping organizations assess where they are, where they need to go, and what media infrastructure they need to get there. This includes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and long-term roadmap development.

I'm also available for fractional and embedded consulting roles for organizations that need ongoing strategic media support without a full-time hire.
